Photographer's Note
So Jose, you were not intimidated by my comrade, and you thought he would be too full of gin.
Well, I'll have you know I am the tallest windmill in the world (de Walvis/the Whale) (1794) and teetotal. Full of grain milled to flour.
I think I have the last word:)

Hi Elaine, this is great! You are now showing the true size of these windmills. Jose is just fooling himself, saying words of comfort to keep his own chin up. But at the same time he is trembling of fear! Beside the Dutch bike, there's another element of confusion for any Portuguese advesary: the roundabout! All Portuguese windmills that try to approach this giant Dutch mill will have to pass this difficult barricade. For sure, they will get lost on the roundabout and keep moving in circles 'till the end of days :o))

Ok, now it's a total war :o). I will have to post my super secret steath wind mill which it's 2 cm tall (but you will have to give me some days before i post it cause first i need to find it, damn :o) ). The we can have a reprise of the story called David & Goliath, then we will see who wins ;)
(Now more serious, that sure it's a hell of a wind-mill, hehe)
Be well

Impressive Eliane, very Impressive, you give me an idea, we can alway use the fanous Dutch bikes as the cavalry!
Your compo makes this tall mill even taller, a very wise display oif the power, and what's more, there's this gorgeous, almost Portuguese blue sky, we'll defeat them with their own weapons!

Hi Elaine,
Wow, what an impressive beauty, I mean it for the mill that's really beautiful and for the weather as well, how sunny !
You have a good angle and compo too, not forgetting another essential Dutch element, the bike, and no cow in sight, Michael got the whole infantry safely back to the stable.
A powerful strike, Elaine, congratulations !

mooie Elain,
De beroemde walvis. heel mooi weergegeven. Iets meer ruimte had hij van mij wel mogen hebben op de compositie, maa4r ik vind hem zeker mooi.

David beated golias once.... it may happen again i'm afraid.
I can't see the danger of this giant... he's big but the brain is smaller than a bean ;)
And again... do i see some wood sticks in the back??? it's not another invalid mill you've brought to fighr isn't it?
EHEH is indeed huge, you did well do catch the bikers... nice eye.

I liked the Netherland and its numberous Windmills... This one looks especially tall indeed!
On the technical side, I believe your picture is well balanced, with the tree on the left side to face the Windmill... Sky color is awesome, great job!
