The Twist, a photo from Zuid Holland, South

Photographer's Note

Ever since the pandemic began and restrictions here have been in force varying between light, strict or stricter, we have always been allowed unrestricted access to nature and to exercise. This bridge, so called The Twist, is about a 10 mins from my home spanning the Vlaardingen Vaart, (canal). I have past it and crossed it countless times over the past months whilst walking and cycling.
Crossing the bridge brings you into a fine nature area, the Broekpolder. This particular day in late October I took my new camera with me to test, I was pretty pleased with the results.

Een stuk Nederland waar ik nooit geweest ben.
Nochtans ziet er heel mooi uit met veel natuur
Natuurlijk is deze speciale brug de blikvanger op uw foto, zelf in weerspiegeling.

Hi Elaine,
Netherlands has countless amount of bridges, but I think this one is one of the most recognizable. Lovely canal side view. With this time of limited chances for activities, you are lucky to have this landscape on your neighbourhood.

Hi Elaine,this lockdown is a good opportunity to take pica of places close to our home and they are surely interesting to show too. Hello Elaine,
It is indeed a very beautiful bridge and located in a very nice natural environment.
The month of October gave you pretty autumn hues in the foliage and the weather conditions allowed splendid reflections in the water.
Excellent composition and good depth with the bank in the foreground included.

Hello Elaine, a fine sunny day perfect for some good reflections. This is particularly good, showing the 'twist' very clearly, and two for the price of one!
It looks a pleasant place to walk and get some essential exercise.
