Photographer's Note

Bicycle expeditions and photography are my two passions that complement each other perfectly.
Traveling through forest roads I often find places of memory hidden among the forests.

This place is located near Go硊chow.
This is a war cemetery.
This monument is dedicated to the victims murdered by the Nazi regime in 1-30 november 1942.

Go硊chow is a village in the Pleszew poviat, in the Greater Poland voivodship, in central-western Poland. Is the seat of the commune (poviat) of the Go硊chow commune. It lies about 40 kilometers north of Ostr體 Wielkopolski.

Poland had much victims during WWII through the German Soldiers.
Nice picture and nice tribute to the victims

Krzyzstof, a cycle trip in a forest area has always a surprise in store. That stele built in tribute to the victims murdered by the Nazis is standing between big trees. Fine colors, good image quality, instructive photo note, regards.

A good view of this monument surrounded by high trees, which created a nice play of light and shadows. Good clarity and sharpness and you handled the sunlight very well, too.

ale Ty masz oko ja bym pewnie nie zauwazyl tego pomnika. Tak sie wpisuje w otoczenie ksztaltem i kolorystyka.
Dobrze przemyslales kompozycje z tymi dwoma slupkami wzmacniajacymi poczucie symetrii choc ja osobiscie pewnie przycialbym troche ten pierwszy plan.
Czasami waham sie czy pozostawic oryginalne proporcje 2:3 czy tez przyciac i jak zauwazyles dosyc czesto wychodza mi nawet kwadratowe zdjecia :)

nice view of the humble monument protected by the trees. I presume there are many other monuments like this in Poland and, at same time the war crimes were much more numerous than the monuments.
