Photographer's Note
You are not going to be surprised very much this time because you have recently seen my photo from the same POV although in different direction here:
https://www.trekearth.com/gallery/Europe/Portugal/photo1595720.htm
It would be great for that quiz available on main TrekEarth page:
https://www.trekearth.com/quiz.php
The quiz shows you some photos and you have to guess where they were taken. When I start watching a movie, I always try to guess the location before they mention it. It is a fun game.
This photo was taken in Monte Palace Tropical Garden on Madeira.

Hello Mariusz,
I suppose most of us would immediately say Madeira, knowing that you had recently been on holiday there!
I love beautiful gardens, they have such peace and tranquility. This one has a very bright, Chinese-looking pergola, which you have positioned strongly in your composition, I suppose, ensuring that most viewers will travel beneath it, taking the journey up the steps as a later exploration!
There are so many different green hues, furnishing a very natural, tranquil atmosphere.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Mariusz,
A very nice and well-composed photo from these garden. The light is soft and pleasant and resulted in some fine, natural green tones. The bright red of the gate stands out very nicely as well.

Hello Mariusz, a beautiful garden with an Oriental theme.
The red arch is well placed off centre.
You give us a choice, which path should we take? Over the little bridge or up the steps?
Lovely picture.
Kind regards, Jean.

Hi Mariusz,I commented yesterday on your golden Buddha, so it is not difficult for me to remember the place, this time there is still a Japanese element but not so predominant, space to view the truly luxuriant vegetation, top quality as always. Have a good night and thanks,Luciano

Hello Mariusz,
The pagoda at left looks Chinese but the torii gate at right is in Japanese style.

Of course, Japan copied a lot of ideas from China, but have taken it to a whole new level. A lovely Japanese garden in Madeira! The diffused light has helped you here. Tfs!

Hi Mariusz
Not what you'd expect in Madeira. A good (and non-blue hour) photo of this Japanese corner.
cheers

Hello Mariusz,
The red torii of course immediately reminds us of Japan. But we remember that you recently visited a Japanese-inspired garden in Madeira.
As for the plants, I don't know whether or not this could be Japan. We see a number of ferns that are common in Madeira.
The picture shows a lot of different plants, flowers and oriental ingredients. You have chosen a very good point of view to bring so much beauty together in one photo.
The red torii is of course a real eye-catcher in this exuberant green environment.
Best regards, Paul

Hello Mariusz,
The red gate made a superb contrast to the diff. green colors of the beautiful garden.
The map gave the answer to your quiz...
Good evening,

Hi Mariusz.
I remember this place very well, the gardens are wonderful with such a diversity of plants and trees, here this kind of Japanese door in red attracts all our attention, although later we recreate the view in the diversity of plants.
Sharpness, lighting, color, and magnificent composition; they are managed to perfection, in this beautiful image.
I like very much.
You have a good day. Very best regards.
Luis.

Hello Jean,
I like the contrast between the red gate and the green all around it. BTW, I have seen many Japanese gardens but have never been to Japan.
Regards,
MT
