Levada das 25 Fontes, Raba鏰l.

Raba鏰l is the starting point for several nice walks in the heart of the Madeiran forest. We can access to two spectacular sites, Risco waterfall and 25 Fountains (25 Fontes in Portuguese). It takes about 4 hours walk to bind both sites and return to the starting point.

A wide path along a levada leads to the impressive waterfall of Risco . After coming partially back to our way , our group then engaged in the direction of 25 fountains. The path becomes more narrow , so much that in some places , it was difficult to cross. After a sometimes aerial route , we reached the final waterfall, much less high than the Risco but very harmonious with the small lake at its foot.

The lack of space didn抰 allow me to take the entire waterfall in one shot , this picture is a collection of 56 photos . Nearly three hours were necessary to my computer for matching them all together with Autostitch !

Bonjour Delphine,
Un travail de longue haleine pour ton ordinateur, mais au final, une image superbement r閍lis閑 et de grande qualit�. Tous les 閘閙ents de cette nature sauvage sont bien pr閟ent閟 et forment une jolie composition. L'endroit semble magique, et malgr� une lumi鑢e toujours d閘icate en for阾, tu as r閡ssi � capturer beaucoup de d閠ails, avec un rendu tr鑣 net. Belles couleurs et textures, excellente lumi鑢e. C'est une tr鑣 jolie photo.

un lavoro lungo e preciso che ti ha ripagato con un ottimo risultato.
La fatica � stata doppia, prima la passeggiata impervia e dopo le foto, l'importante � stare bene e godere dei risultati ottenuti.

Un assemblage de 56 photos....le record de Didi doit 阾re battu. Qu'est-ce que tu vas bien pouvoir faire de l'image au format r閑l? L'endroit est sauvage et beau.

Bonjour Delphine,
I like the composition and placement of tiny, small waterfalls within the image. The landscape orientation of this works well considering the horizontal nature of the subject. There is a good counterbalance of motion here as well. The water moving softly down and the camera straight angle has allowed to capture the green plants, brown rocks and also the small water pond in foreground.

certes je n'ai pas sur ma photo les 2 extremit閟 aussi bien mais 3 photos devraient pouvoir le faire ..ou alors tu avais un 500mm??
mais peu importe la photo est superbe et rend bien l'atmosphere des 25 fontes!!

Hi Delphine,
Beautiful shady place with all those tiny falls of water. 56 photos stitched together is an amazing number. And the result is immaculate. Exposure is correct on all areas and I didn't find any seams anywhere.

Je trouve que ta photo a beaucoup de charme.La nettet� (quelle richesse de d閠ails au niveau de la roche et de la v間閠ation !) ,la qualit� et l'harmonie des couleurs sont impressionnantes.Si il a fallut presque autant de temps � ton ordinateur pour traiter cette image qu'� toi pour effectuer cette marche,en tous cas, cela en valait la peine.

56 photos avec Autostitch ? c'est un exploit
Tu as de la chance de poss閐er l'original, tu as la possibilit� de zoomer � fond
Avec Autopano 8 � 12 images auraient 閠� suffisantes
Mon exploit c'est 60 images avec le ch鈚eau de Sully sur Loire
54 images pour le ch鈚eau de Combreux, mais depuis que j'utilise Autopano je peux r閐uire le nombre de photos car les points de contr鬺e d'assemblage sont puissants

Hi Delphine,
very impressive stitching work. The picture is crispy sharp. It has an atmosphere typical for a rain forest. Dark, wet with well saturated green tones.
