Photographer's Note
This is my second photo on TrekEarth taken from the Cabo Girão Skywalk, 589 meters above the sea level. I think this title would be more suitable for the previous photo where I actually showed the view straight down as if walking the glass skywalk:
https://www.trekearth.com/gallery/Europe/Portugal/photo1595815.htm
I suppose you could call a person walking the skywalk a skywalker, right? But the title refers of course to the family name of the Star Wars heroes: Anakin, Luke and Leia Skywalker.

Hi Mariusz,as soon as I opened the photo I felt that stomach ailment typical of those suffering from vertigo like me, which looks like what we had a few moments before the professor said the name of who was questioned .. ahaha ... the photo is really fantastic , there are not many places where you can enjoy such deep panoramas, perfect capture as always. Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano

Hello Mariusz!
We did not get occasion to visit it, so thanks for sharing! The item is crystal clear: Cabo Girao, one of the highest cliffs in the EU.
Admiration of a stomach in rebellion, that is the question here - but not for the photo's quality, of course. :-)
Regards from Rhineland-Palatinate (where we have the highest German cliff outside the Alps)

Hi Mariusz
A superb vertiginous view. Fortunately for me I am not scared of heights. I am still cautious though and avoid cliffs when its windy, where there are fractures and cracks, or awkward overhangs you have to duck to 'safely' pass. A terrific view of the coastline with good sharpness. The fishing boat trawling adds interest. Tfs!

Hello Mariusz,
A great vertical composition to show those impressive cliffs and you also included the surroundings very well. The colours look good in the bright sunlight. Well done.

Hello Mariusz,
Amazing spectacular view of this particularly impressive coastline.
It looks like you were able to enjoy nice weather there after all. At least the kind of weather that makes us enjoy the view.
A nice view of sun and shade.
Could you approach this point without getting a fear of heights?
I see some fields atop the perpendicular cliffs. These farmers also earn shivering money while practicing their profession :)
I'm not sure if it's part of Funchal that we see further down the coast.
Thus, these cliffs are located 589 meters above sea level. What's your next challenge? In Norway you have the Prekestolen (meaning: the Pulpit Rock), a cliff that rises 605 meters above the Lysefjord. So not above the sea but above the water of the fjord. Equally spectacular.
I was there 41 years ago. At the time it was a feasible trip to the top, but I don't know if I could do it now.
Just google Prekestolen (or Preikestolen).
Best regards, Paul

Hi Mariusz.
Sensational this great perspective from the top of these high cliffs, the image is very clear and we can see the city in the distance, ideally the vegetation that covers these rugged lands.
Great color that brings out the details of the image.
Very well managed both the brightness and the sharpness of the image.
Nice work. That we enjoy.
Have a nice day.
Very best regards.
Luis.

Hello Mariusz,
If Skywalker is here, Princess Leia must not be far off! Seriously, beautiful scenery.
