Photographer's Note

In the greenhouse Lagartagis raises common butterfly fauna of the Iberian Peninsula.
It is open to the public in the Botanical Garden of the National Museum of Natural History.

The garden, with Mediterranean plants, is inhabited by several species of butterflies, which can be observed at different stages of their life cycle: egg, caterpillar, chrysalis and adult.

This is also an area of leisure, one corner of the garden great to relax, to read, contemplate and enjoy a special area of high diversity of flowering plants and butterflies.

Lagartagis also offers a hand full of activities, workshops and guided tours for school groups of different age ranges ..

It is open every day from 10 am to 17h pm
