Levada das 25 Fontes, Raba鏰l.

Walking by the trails along the levadas is a great way to discover the laurel forest of Madeira. From Raba鏰l, in the heart of Paul da Serra, the walk leading to the waterfalls of Risco and 25 Fontes (25 sources) offer sumptuous views of the typical vegetation of the islands of Macaronesia (Azores, Madeira , Canary Islands, Cape Verde).

Fog and frequent rains in this area result in lush vegetation, often covered with beard lichen, giving the laurel forest a magical appearance. Today, Madeiran laurel forest covers an area of approximately 150 km � , located between 300 and 1300 meters of altitude. It has been protected since 1999 as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO ( and since 1986 for the laurel forest of La Gomera in the Canary Islands ) . These forests are actually relics. We found the same vegetation around the Mediterranean Basin before climate dried, about 10 000 years ago , hence the title of the photo, " Travel to ancient times."

Among the species that have marked me , the thrush tree (the flowers are identical to the thrush you usually find in the woods) and giant dandelions (true shrub of 3 meters high) .

le canal cr閑 une courbe agr閍ble en partant de l'angle gauche et forme une trace dynamique dans la v間閠ation.

Quand je regarde tes photos de Mad鑢e, je revois tous ces endroits merveilleux que j'ai 間alement visit閟 et qui m'ont laiss� un souvenir inoubliable, notamment de cette nature grandiose avec ses paysages qui en mettent plein la vue. Tr鑣 belle photo de cette v間閠ation luxuriante parmi laquelle, marcher est un r閑l plaisir. J'aime la courbe de la levada qui nous fait entrer dans l'image et incite � emprunter le sentier de randonn閑. Tr鑣 bon cadrage dans ce format carr� bien adapt�.

J'essaie d'imaginer le travail pour enlever ces pissenlits g閍nts de ma pelouse immacul閑 � l'am閞icaine. On voit qu'il y a beaucoup d'humidit� dans l'air si on se fie � la luxuriance de la v間閠ation.

mi piace la semplicit� della composizione che in un ambiente dominato dal verde della vegetazione fa perno sulla curva del canale per creare un bel soggetto che attira l'attenzione nella giusta nmisura.
Ottima la gestione della luce e del contrasto ed eccellente la nitidezza.
Stupendi i colori con una infinit� di variazioni nei toni del verde, sempre piacevoli e brillanti.
