Costa Nova is a small (originaly) fishermen´s village near Aveiro. This is the look of their typical houses. This one happens to be the front of a restaurant, near the harbour. Many original houses there are built with wood and they´re painted in this original manner with vertical or horizontal coloured stripes, usualy one colour contrasting with white. You can see them in green, yellow, pink and so on.
These happen to be the exact two colours of the "Benfica" and "Porto" football teams that are disputing the final of the Portuguese cup in a few days, so I thought it was appropriate...

A Costa Nova é uma aldeia, originalmente de pescadores, alguns kilometros a sul de Aveiro.
Este é o aspecto original das suas casas típicas.
Estas são de facto as fachadas de um restaurante perto da doca.
O título refere-se obviamente à final da Taça que se aproxima... (bibó Puôrto ...carago...)
