Photographer's Note
Shot at the banks of Ribeira de Nisa, near Senhora da Graça, from the road from Nisa to Pé da Serra.
I have another post shot a minute after this one with the POV centered more to the left of this one.
The title is the name of the place, which I discovered after I took the photo and I felt amused by the fact that the picture actually has a donkey and a horse in it.
This was one of the first "more serious" photos I did with a digital camera, as before it I only had shot at social events, touristic trips and alikes with cameras that weren't mine.
Apart from a slight increase on brighness (gamma 1.04) and on sharpness to compesate the efect of shrinking, it is just like it came out of the camera. Not even a pixel cropped.
Ribeira de Nisa is a tributary of river Tejo (Tagus) and it's just a small river that flows from the hills near Portalegre (Serra de S.Mamede).
Nisa is a small town, about 5 Km from this place, Pé da Serra a tiny village 3 Km away and Senhora da Graça a small country church that stands on the top of the hill on the left upper side of the photo.
As allways, critiques and comments, either bad or good, are welcome. Don't be shy telling what you think, as that is mcuh of the fun of TE.

This is a very good photo. The point of view is particularly good. Thanks for the note, too! Good lighting and sharpness.

Talvez o meio dia não seja a melhor altura para este tipo de imagem mas, não deixa de ser interessante e de nos mostrar uma parte do país menos conhecida e que... ainda não ardeu.

Hi Jose,
very nice view into the valley. The most interesting point with the creek is in the middle, flowing to the viewer. The road is just in parallel, then leaving up behind the trees and hills.
It was not easy to find both animals, as one of them is close to the tree. And who is who here? I think the one close to the tree might be the donkey (question of color).
I am impressed about those several greens. Are they typical for this region in spring time?

Olá José
Muito bonito, mas gostaria de ver também maior aproximação à ribeira.
