Photographer's Note
Another landscape from my beloved Alentejo, the region of Portugal where I was born, that fills roughly most of the country that lies South and West of Lisbon.
This kind of stone houses are very common. I guess that in the past some of them were home to peasants, but now they are either abandoned or serve to keep agricultural tools and stuff like animal food. Some of them never had other use.
The tree is a holm oak (Quercus rotundifolia), a close "cousin" of the cork oak which is the subject of one of my earlier posts. In that post you can find some notes on these trees.
The place is near 3 rural chapels, the most important of which, Senhora da Graça, is very popular locally and is the centre of a festival celebrated every Monday after Easter. It's less than 1 Km away from "Poço dos burros" (Well of the donkeys), which was the subject of two of my earlier post (I and II).
As allways, critiques and comments, either bad or good, are welcome. Don't be shy telling what you think, as that is much of the fun of TE.

Hi Jose,
let me be the first to say I like it.
It is perfect from the technical perspective (light, sharpness, contrast, colors). The POV is nice, objects well focused.
What to say more?

Let me be the second. This really is a good picture, very well balanced with natural colours, Olympus cameras seem to excel in this area. Top marks.

Hi Jose,
I too think that you have taken it very well and a good POV + colours and sharpness, A nice old building over here someone would have converted it into a house by now and be living in it.TFS

OLá José
Uma composição tipicamente bucólica.
O que gosto mais é um ponto de vista escolhido. O ângulo ascendente da loinha d evisão resulta bem.
Um pouco de sharpeness a mais? quiça não.

You have superb collection of pictures Jose and I had fun looking at them. Interesting Intro too. You have a very trained eyes for perspective and this composition from low PoV is brilliant too. The little flowers, the lone tree and the stone house add so much character to this shot. Well done.
Best regards,
Jusni

José,
A composição está excelente, apesar da posição do sol não estar inteiramente ao seu favor. O POV é muito bem escolhido para apresentar a volumetria da construção. detalhes da superfície da parede muito interessantes, tamnbém.
Abraço, amigo.
Paulo
