Photographer's Note
Earlier this year during a Corona-related forced confinement. What is the traveler to do when forced to stay in? Dream of course... A sun drenched winter afternoon and a nostalgic orchid overlook the small blocks in the immediate vicinity of home. The sepia toning is a direct "creative" setting from the recently rescued from the pawnshop Canon G1X. Never knew this camera existed... although it is quite old today, it has nice f/2 -f3.2 lens with useful focal lengths of 12 to 62 mm. For those in the know- can you see anything strange about the orchid? Hint: it stayed beautifully flowered just like this for a very, very long time:P
