Photographer's Note
One of the allegorical statues decorating the gardens of Peles Castle,Sinaia. Classic elements are mixed with Gothic and Renaissance elements to form a unique mix, a fantasy-like Romantic/ Neo-classic style loved by German nobility of the time. It is said this particular statue depicts a nymph overlooking a small pond. Restaurative efforts are being made and the thick layer of moss is carefully peeled away but it has not been cleaned fully yet.
Tecnical Note A passing shot from a mirrorless Canon M50 (mark i) ,on full auto mode- shows the nice defaults of this camera. The colors are true-to-life as it was a very sunny midsummer day.

Hi Marius,
A good sharp photo of the statue which also includes some of the columns of the building. The lighting is very good for showing the statue and all its problems with moss and weathering. I hope the restoration goes well, but moss can produce acids that dissolve the marble.

Salut Marius,
Une statue parfaitement cadrée, très bon rendu d'image, netteté et teintes, une oeuvre bien réalisée, l'expression et l'attitude sont très expressives, bon effet avec ces contrastes de lumière qui donne du relief à la statue.
