Sibiu City Walls

This is the town of Sibiu again with some of the old city walls and their towers along the street called Strada Cetății (Citadel Street). The city walls date back to the 16th century. The tower in the foreground is called Turnul Dulgherilor. The light was a bit tricky in the early evening, but luckily the old fa鏰des added enough colour to the shot anyway.

Hi Lars,the renovated towers seem to have been built recently, this way of painting them has made them lose some of their ancient charm that we have seen in other places in Sibiu. However, the houses on the right are a great show of colors, shame about the car but it's not your fault, by now we are used to always having some disturbing element .. hahaha .. Jag har lite vaga minnen av Sibius gatun鋞, men det h鋜 kvarteret k鋘ns v鋖digt bekant. Det 鋜 verkligen en s鰐 lite gata med det vackra tornet mitt emot de v鋖digt pittoreska husen i pastellf鋜ger. Du klarade det begr鋘sade ljuset v鋖digt bra, och det 鋜 ingen nackdel att ett par kom g錯nde mot dig hand i hand.

Hello Lars,
The white tower kept its ancient design, though looks as recently renovated.
Superb contrast to the surrounding, old facades on right side and trees on the other.

I liked the shapes of this white tower and the colorful fa鏰des added another fabulous aspect to the street. nice inclusion of the couple, hand in hand.

Hello Lars, this looks like a lovely place to visit and take a walk; there seems to be a lot to see.
Even though the light was a little dull, the colourful buildings on the right still brighten the scene.
The towers are photogenic, and look delightful; good that they have been well cared for.

Maybe it would be better to wait for half an hour, but sometimes you can not wait for the golden time, so you have to take your photo and continue on your way. Good view of this beautiful street. Light control is well done in difficult conditions.

Lovely tower, it has quite a unique design. You have positioned it well in the frame. The surrounding area was in the shade but we can still get an idea about how colorful it is. The walking couple adds a romantic touch.

A wonderful composition, ideal for this street with the colorful facades looking towards the walls, also the tower that we see in the foreground is splendid, in the background between the trees we can see the roof of another.
A magnificent color that gives a lot of chromatic richness to the image.
Very good management of lighting and sharpness, although you should have softened the contrast a bit.
