This is the rusty rainbow bridge over one of the most circulated highways in Romania,A1.Here we cross from the train station to the Busteni mountain resort- on a rusty arched welded bridge that is oddly (and pandemically) empty under a nice sky on a particularly pleasant summer day. In the distance past lovely missus's back you can see the Caraiman Mountain- it has a big metal cross shaped monument up top for the victims of WW1. You can just make it out if you squint a bit, on the highest of the two main peaks (left one) in the center of the picture.Busteni is a less popular mountain resort- but un-rightfully so,the nature is spectacular and weather mostly fine. But it is true the town itself is rather poorly developed and cared for..Nice ski resort though.
Technical note :This is a quick "phone-o-graphy",witha Samsung A 70- I was buried under a mountain of luggage and although the excellent Nikon D5300 was strapped to me also, I simply could not get it out in time...the phone was at hand as I just communicated first impressions to base station ( overly-worried parents?).
