Back to the big city, this is the street Calea Victoriei near the square Piața George Enescu in Bucharest, where you will find both the Central University Library (Biblioteca Centrală Universitară, at right) and the concert hall Romanian Athenaeum (Ateneul Rom鈔, in the background). In front of the library stands the Equestrian Statue of Carol I, the first King of Romania.

Jag vill minnas att detta var ett ganska trevligt omr錮e med m錸ga sm� bokhandlar p� trottoarerna l鋘gs n錱ra gator. Hyrcyklarna passar fint i den studentikosa atmosf鋜en h鋜 i kvarteren. Du passade p� att ta den h鋜 bilden medan bilarna hade r鰐t ljus s� att du fick en ganska ost鰎d f鰎grund. Det h鋜鋜 en av de m錸ga byggnaderna som en g錸g gav Bukarest namnet "Balkans Paris".

it is an imposing building with a classic aspect and metallic roof, typical from countries of north. the statue is a good element here too. beautiful view.

Beautiful architecture. The elegant building is well decorated with the equestrian statue. You had an amazing weather in the Romanian capital. The sky is just perfect and so is the light. I see you had a problem with too many cars but you selected an optimal angle to avoid them.
Excellent presentation from this slightly less visited European capital,

Along this avenue there are magnificent buildings, here you show us one of the most interesting, in the background we can see a bit of the one with the classicist atrium and the great dome, it is another that I loved.
Very nice color, which together with good sharpness and optimal lighting, gives great quality to the image.

Hello Lars,
This is an attractive corner, and the library is especially impressive. I like all the columns and red-trimmed windows on the front section. I guess the light was red for all those cars, and just a moment later they were all racing past the intersection. Take care!
