According to Wikipedia, an alternate reality or parallel universe in science fiction and fantasy is a self-contained separate reality coexisting with our own. A specific group of parallel universes is called a multiverse, although this term can also be used to describe all the parallel universes that comprise physical reality.

While the terms parallel universe and alternate reality are generally synonymous and can be used interchangeably in most cases, there is sometimes an additional connotation implied with the term alternate reality that implies that the reality is a variant of our own.

The term parallel universe is more general, without any connotations implying a relationship (or lack thereof) with our own universe.

Wow -I think most people are going to miss this shot, thinking you've done some kind of photoshop trick..but its real!!--nicely done!! and black and white is perfect for this shot too

Foarte artistica photografie...sunt impresionat.De fapt aceste "realitati alternative" sunt fascinante. Ar trebui sa pastrezi tehnica asta drept cartea ta de vizita .

Aaaa, e chiar super imaginea... imi place mult: artistic, senzual as zice... nu pot sa spun exact :) dar transmite ceva... Imi place mult lumina de pe pielea 'modelului', superb pusa in valoare de alegerea ta B&W. Foarte, foarte inspirat crop-ul (nu stiu daca ai lucrat si la partea superioara a imaginii dar e foarte buna incadrarea incepand de la nivelul ochilor). Bravo!!!

Nice superposition! I like the contrast between the rigorous building and the appaently smooth and relaxed female. The 3*3 frame lines are good too and add to the confusion.

Hi Teodora,

I think it's good that you haven't defined a style for yourself yet, it makes for a more interesting and varied gallery. This is more like a piece of artwork than a photograph but then photography is art! A superb image, well suited to B&W and the reflections are wonderful.

Let me tell you at first that my first tought was for some photohop gimmickry,I look at your first shot and the associate WS you sent,now I admire the eyes that thought about this composition taken from the inside,surimposing one over the other.A creation you should be proud of.

Very aesthetic, it seems like a black & white collage. I particularly appreciate the balance of contrast and the texture on the image whatever it may be (noise, grain...). The frame is flawless, and she seems to embrace the city in a loving and protecting harmony. Very good work.

reflections on your shot:

contrary to general opinion I'd suggest smarts guys are supposed not to be always right and ready to give advices, jump to conclusions and think in axiom's but the opposite...
There for I will always be ready to admit that everything above (considering 'alternate realities' should I say -below-) is wrong, corrupt or just an illusion...

but "Deep inside of a parallel universe,It's getting harder and harder,to tell what came first"...

by the way an excellent piece of work raher than a shot.
