Photographer's Note
The municipality of Prizren is still the most culturally and ethnically heterogeneous of Kosovo, retaining communities of Bosniaks, Turks, and Romani in addition to the majority Kosovo Albanian population live in Prizren. Only a small number of Kosovo Serbs remains in Prizren and area, residing in small villages, enclaves, or protected housing complexes.[2] Furthermore, Prizren's Turkish community is socially prominent and influential, and the Turkish language is widely spoken even by non-ethnic Turks.

Merhaba Erhan. Firstly, a wonderful atmosphere due to the soft light (excellent exposure) and the subject matter(men at prayer). The Holy Book is beautifully lit and I love the light on the brass. Prizren has been one of the cities I love, even if I had never been there for exactly those reasons you mention- the cultural diversity (excluding what happened to the Orthodox population.) Secondly, your title doesn't match the peaceful image, but does reflect the Islamophobia that is evident in the media at present. Selam. Klaudio.

Hello Erhan, Interesting scene from the mosque. How can sit like this for longer time? We call it in Polish "to sit in Turkish way" and as I see not without the reason. Yes, it is Serbia, but it looks like in Turkey.
Warm regrads MAlgo

Hi Erhan,
Prizren was one of my favorite cities in my ex-country. In fact, it is still my favorite, but it is practically impossible to visit it, at least without great risk. This beautiful photo reminded me of my former visits, I think this is a scene from the Sinan Pasha Mosque.
Unfortunately, as far as I know after the Orthodox community practically disappeared from the city, some beautiful churches were completely abandoned, among others Our Lady of Ljeviš from 1307 (UNESCO World Heritage Site).
