Photographer's Note
Probudila me je vest na televiziji o požaro Katedrale Notre-Dame i veoma me rastužila.
LARGE WERSION
The news on the television aroused the fire of the Cathedral of Notre-Dame and made me very sad.
This building dates back to the time when the most important Orthodox shrines were made in Serbia and in Kosovo, the sacred Serbian country, including the Studenica Monastery.
You can imagine how many of these monasteries were burnt to the ground by the Ottoman Empire, ruled over 600 years ago.
Today, with the UNESCO Facilitation Delegation to be in Kosovo and Metohija these days, it should determine the situation of the damage done to the Serbian Orthodox spiritual and cultural heritage in Kosovo and Metohija. The strong attitude of the Diocese of Raska and Prizren is that the destruction of these sacred places in March can not be viewed outside the context of the complete destruction or destruction of over 140 Orthodox holy sites since the arrival of the UN mission and KFOR in June 1999. It is a continuous process of systematic suppression of all traces of the spirituality and culture of the Serbian people in this region, and the perpetrators were the same.
Some people are bothered by the cross, whether it is Catholic or Orthodox anyway.I have a big doubt that the fire in Notre-Dame is a diversion and not a coincidence.

Hello Sasha,
A beautiful view of the monastery. The sunlight was truly perfect and lit the façade so well. It stands out wonderfully from the blue sky. The trees at left and the shadows cast onto the entrance add a nice contrast.

Bonjour Sasha,

Hi, Sasa.
Fantastic POV of the monastery, which allows us to see is a nice image of the side of it, where we differentiate what looks like two parts in the construction, one with stone and one with brick, we see its various volumes and dome, as well as this entrance door.
A magnificent color, good management of lighting and sharpness.
Well done. I like it.
You have a good day.
Very best regards.
Luis.

Hello Saša,
You present us a very beautiful view of one of the most large monasteries in Serbia.
Nice with the shadow of the trees on the right part of the wall although some visitors are getting a bit too dark as a result.
If I don't make a mistake this monastery is completely walled.
Taken on a very beautiful day in November.
Best regards, Paul
