Staro stablo i pecurka.
Postoje jos i puhare, pupavci itd.
Old tree and mushroom.
View of green grass, old tree and mushroom.
A mushroom (mushroom with leaves) is a life form of a fungus whose tree grows above the ground and consists of a stalk and a hat, and the mycelium is in the base. If it is a fleshy hat with pores, then we are talking about mushrooms, and if they grow on trees, then they are perforators or losers. There are also puhars, pupavci, etc. In any case, it is not about the phylogenetic group, but about the appearance of the fungus.
Mushrooms are also important for humans and can be edible, inedible and poisonous, some of which can cause death. There are rules, so it can be said that porcini mushrooms are edible unless they have red spores or red "marks" on the stalk. However, there is no sure way to differentiate between these groups and only experts can distinguish them. Also, when preparing food, it is necessary to heat the mushrooms well, because many poisons are destroyed at high temperatures.

Hello Paja, beautiful photo of this yellow mushroom. I like the composition and colours very much.
From Wikipedia about this one:
Laetiporus sulphureus is a species of bracket fungus (fungi that grow on trees) found in Europe and North America. Its common names are crab-of-the-woods, sulphur polypore, sulphur shelf, and chicken-of-the-woods. Its fruit bodies grow as striking golden-yellow shelf-like structures on tree trunks and branches. Old fruitbodies fade to pale beige or pale grey. The undersurface of the fruit body is made up of tubelike pores rather than gills.
Laetiporus sulphureus is a saprophyte and occasionally a weak parasite, causing brown cubical rot in the heartwood of trees on which it grows. Unlike many bracket fungi, it is edible when young, although adverse reactions have been reported.

Hello Pavle,
I wouldn't try to eat this mushroom but it looks very good in the photo. Its yellow and orange tones contrast beautifully with the green grass and grey tree. You observed this well and composed the photo nicely.
Best regards,
Gert

Hi Paja,
The tree and the grass are framing well the mushroom. The point of view is showing the details of the old tree and of the mushroom. The light is giving nice tints to the colors of the picture. Have a nice day.

Zdravo Pavle,
Veliko delo,
M

Hello Paja,
The colourful yellow red bracket fungi usually confine themselves to dead trees. The green moss enhances the effect and the bark texture is noticeable. Tfs!
