Photographer's Note
Both photos are best opened in a new tab for better detail.
A colourful courtyard in a grand Ronda building. I don't remember what the building was. From the look of the stone against the wall I suspect that it may have been a museum. Several of you have been to Ronda more recently so if anyone recognizes the building let me know. Thanks to Malgo - it is Mondragon Palace.
In the workshop is a much less grand but stylish entry lane way.

Bonjour, cher Ian,
Voilà une proposition architecturale du plus bel effet. La couleur rouge éclate merveilleusement à travers ce décor féerique;
Le sol luisant ajoute une beauté particulière.
Amitiés.

Hello Ian,
The WS may be less grand, but it's a no less attractive photo. Both pictures are well taken and show a lot of fine architectural details. I really like the red against white and the green plants of the main photo.
Best regards,
Gert

Hello Ian,
Yes, Malgo is right. These pictures show a part of the patio of the Palacio de Mondragón which is the Museo Municipal de Ronda.
It's the most known and beautiful civil monument of the city.
I bet you have more pictures taken there because there's another very beautiful fountain.
The strong red colour of the arches is a bit unusual for Andalucia, I think.
Patios in Andalucia are a world in itself.
Best regards, Paul

Hi Ian
Both photos are very beautiful, I would have a problem deciding which one should be the main upload. The both offer an intimate insight into the architecture of the palace. Also, both wonderfully graphic with lovely colours.
Best wishes

Hello Ian,
What a courtyard......very 'matador' the red arches are like a cape. What missing is a bull ( at least figurine will do ).
The wet-look courtyard from the rain - cool and fresh feel esp the WS. Very typical Spanish plantings alley way - in line with terracotta pots.
Thanks for sharing.

Hello Ian,
Two delightful shots, capturing the beauty and the elegance of architecture of this region.
The red paint is unusual but how effective!
I like how you have shown the reflective nature of the tiles, presumably after a downpour.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

The red arches are real eye-catchers. Very good capture of this courtyard, some nice green parts as well and the well adds some fine details.

Wonderful, I chose this one from a whole series of photos from the south of Spain. They reminded me of my journey through almost the same places about ten years ago.
