Photographer's Note
The House on the Hill above Palma, Mallorca, in the Islas Baleares.
Most people think of Mallorca as a sunshine island, which it is for much of the year, but the mountains see a fair amount of rain, particularly now...
This year has been so hot, and so dry, with so little rain, but now the heavens are full of water that has evaporated from the sea this summer, and it has no where to go so for now it is time for it to fall on the land. In recent weeks the rainfall in the mountain reaches has made the island so green. Here you can see one of the aquaducts channeling water from the mountain run off to a holding pool, most likely used to irrigate the lands and keep the slopes lush. And that is Palma, the capital of Mallorca, in the background.
Oh, and there is a very nice house here perched on the side of the hill. Just imagine!!!!
Buen fin de semana...

Hi Casper
That's exactly the Majorca I know!
I always go there in winter and always somewhere in the vicinity of the Serra de Tramuntana.
This house looks like a dream. :-)
Best wishes
Kasia
