Photographer's Note

This sculpture is located in the center of the large square in front of the auditorium, the Castle of San Juan and the Parque Mar韙imo C閟ar Manrique, a new development area of the city. It was built in 2001 by Aquilino Perez Dorta, although designed by Cesar Manrique, whose sketches to realize it was interpreted by Juan Amigo and Jose L. Olcina.

Jorge Manrique, in addition to being an architect and painter, designed several sculptures, always based on mobility, which he called "wind toys." Metal structures generally are formed by a composition of geometric elements to rotate the wind action by interacting between themselves. The various sketches he left behind his death are being made and mobile sculptures are placed in different points of the Canaries.
