a fine, moody shot, korkut, like the final scene in a film about unrequited love... there she goes, down a never-ending street, walking out of his life forever. of course it's raining, it wouldn't have the poignancy it does if you took it in the sun. lovely use of b&w.

I like this deserted narrow street with a perspective leading the viewer on the lonely woman sheltered under her umbrella. The B&W mood accentuates the sadness of the scene.

hello Korkut, Lovely view of this narrow street in rainy day. Not everyone escaped, at least there is lady with umbrella on the street and a photographer, always ready to find some beautiful theme for a shot.

When everyone else has put his camera away, you're out there capturing this poignant shot. I like Kristin's take on it: my feeling exactly. In literature (and therefore why not in photography?) the conjuncture of weather with the human mood is called "the pathetic fallacy". Nice work.
