The house of the umbrellas (la casa de los paraguas), which dates from the 18th century, belonged to a merchant who became rich selling these items. Now is a well known building in the city.

Hi Pedro,
A very fine building, and one to me which looks to have a lot of Italian influence too. I like that you have presented this in front of the busy intersection here, showing its place nicely at the heart of the city.

Marvelous street scenery and great architecture's details on this town, Pedro.
Fine taken shot, vivid and vibrant, people all around. Light managed superbly, not too harsh as on summer's, and not as low on town's as usually happens.

This is such a successful photograph! The slightly wider angle, the POV, the movement of the car and the splashes of colour all create a rich vibrancy.
