Granv韆 at dusk, a photo from Madrid, Madrid

Photographer's Note

One of the photos that I wanted to take during my journey in Madrid was the Granv韆 at the blue hour.
During an agreeable walk with our friend Luis, on returning to our hotel, and while we were waiting in a red light, I caught this image of this beautiful avenue, with the cars and a cloudy splendid sky.

This one is a photo that I like much, and that I want to share with all my friends on TE.

Una de las fotos que quer韆 tomar durante mi estancia en Madrid era la Granv韆 a la hora azul.
Durante un agradable paseo con nuestro amigo Luis, de regreso a nuestro hotel, y mientras est醔amos esperando en un sem醘oro en rojo, pude captar esta imagen de esta bella avenida, con los coches y un cielo nublado precioso.

Es una foto que me gusta mucho, y que quiero compartir con todos los amigos en TE.

Il y a beaucoup de facteurs qui font de cette photo une r閡ssite. Le ciel est exceptionnel, la perspective organise bien la composition et l'animation donne la note de vie � l'ensemble.

Recuerdo perfectamente el momento de esta instantanea, que tarde tan agradable...
La composicion es magnifica, captaste completa toda la linea de edificios desde la esquina con plaza Espa馻 hasta el edificio que se ve en lo alto ya en Callao, que gran profundidad has obtenido.
Una imagen muy vibrante con un cielo que ha quedado realmente espectacular, la luz esta genial... buen equilibrio maestro. El color tiene tambien un buen nivel de intensidad. El marco tanto dise駉 como colores en su punto optimo. Felicitaciones amigo mio por otra bella imagen sobre Madrid.
Seguir disfrutando de un buen fin de semana.

Hola Josep,
I can see why you like this one so much; the combination of storm light and blue hour makes the light incredible. The framing is also very impressive with the Granvis tower taking center stage. The sweep of the city scape draws me back to an echoing tower with a cloud show above.

Ciel dramatique.

Bonjour Josep,

Merci au feu rouge car la photo est superbe, j'aime beaucoup l'atmosph鑢e qui ressort de ce paysage urbain. Les couleurs et les lumi鑢es sont sublimes et ce ciel donne beaucoup de relief � l'image. Je f閘icite aussi la nettet� de l'image surtout sans tr閜ied, bravo Josep.

I'm always enchanted by Madrid's architecture since I really feel that it can't be found anywhere in Europe. This angle really captures the scale and details of the buildings quite well. The sky looks threatening and it's good to see that you included a lot of it. The lack of lens distortion is a big plus as well.

The red signage jumps out of the picture...mainly because of the dark sky. The sunlight filtering through the clouds illuminates the buildings well. Good depth & perspective in the shot created by the avenue. Well done!

Hace a駉s que no paso por esta calle emblem醫ica de Madrid.
Gran perspectiva bajo ese intenso cielo nublado que no te rest� una buena luz. Tomaste un buen momento en el que en la v韆 perpendicular no hab韆 ning鷑 coche. Me gustan mucho esos colores suaves y apagados.

yes, i always enjoy viewing your photos!
For once, a red light was worth waiting for :)
Again, its the composition that sets this one up so well, giving us large amounts of depth, and of course the important perspective lines.
the blue sky/clouds is another important element that compliments the darkness on the street.
a well composed photo!

Dusk hour over the boulevard in Madrid, light already on and inspite the grey overcast you managed a fine view along.
