Alc醶ar of Seville #2, a photo from Sevilla, Andalucia

Photographer's Note

This is another shot taken inside the Alc醶ar of Seville. I don't know what's the name of this part of the palace however it's also beautiful as the Courtyard of the Maidens and designed in the same architectural style. Here, the soft and warm light caught my attention and the lonely man who was reading a text close to the window. Hope you like it as well.

The man reading by the window is a key element in the success of the composition. He contributes much to the mood along with the lighting. Excellent light management supported by very good colours and sharpness. I like it very much.

questo genere di fotografia mi attrae sempre pi� e ad essere sincero le preferisco alle cartoline prettamente turistiche.
In esse il fotografo ha modo di esprimere meglio le proprie impressioni, i propri sentimenti e nello stesso tempo diventa anche un ottimo esercizio di tecnica perch� gestire la luce il pi� delle volte non � facile.
In questa sei stata bravissima e luce, colore e contrasto interagiscono ottimamente con la composizione creando un risultato di alt� qualit�.

A quiet moment, beautifully caught. Despite the use only of available light, you've managed to catch some highlights on the man's face. And there's plenty of detail within the room too. Well exposed under difficult circumstances.

Hi Gosia,
My first impression of this picture is the very pleasant colour harmony between the person and the surrounding room. There is a very attractive tranquillity in this scene. The person seems to be very absorbed in something... The is a lot of space in the picture with an abundance of interesting architectural details and patterns. An excellently cropped picture.

Podoba mi się nastroj , kt髍y stworzyłaś na tym zdjęciu. Na uwage zasluguje piekna podloga i zdobienia na ścianach. Urokliwe wnetrze, miękkie światło nie powoduje zbyt dużych kontrastow � dobra realizacja

This is a very well idea with the man before the window.
I like the light of the exterior.
The floor is real the real eye catcher on the interior picture.

Hello Gosia,

An interesting note and a very fine photograph to accompany it!

As you say in your note, it is the wonderful light which makes this photograph so special and you have coped with it extremely well. In fact, it's remarkable that the room is so well illuminated and we can pick out details of this man's face and clothing and yet the view of the outside through the window is not at all overexposed.

I love the play of the light and shade on the walls and the reflections on the patterned floor. You have composed this picture very pleasingly, the light and colours are superb, your exposure perfect and the details and sharpness are exquisite.
