The Gulf of C脙隆diz is the arm of the Atlantic Ocean between Cabo de Santa Maria (Cape of St. Mary), the southernmost point of Mainland Portugal and Cape Trafalgar (Cabo Trafalgar) at the western end of the Strait of Gibraltar. Two major rivers, the Guadalquivir and the Guadiana, as well as smaller rivers, like the Odiel, the Tinto, and the Guadalete, reach the ocean here. Source: Wikipedia

Hello Gosia,
Superb capture of this seascape at sunset. The shades of orange colour of the setting sun blend so nicely with the lovely shades of blue sky. The long exposure also gives a really good effect on the water, and I like the roughness of the rocks contrasting the silky texture of the calm ocean. You really captured the brilliant colours for this time of day. All technical aspects are spot on. Very well done.

A stupendous sunset with incredible warm cold color contrasts between the orange horizon and the upper blue sky and the blue grey sea below. Good sharpness and the dark exposed rocks add a nice graphic element. I like the wide angled panoramic crop. Tfs.

That is some impressive scenery, it is like the world is ablaze just over the horizon, and the tones of deep orange look stunning combined with the blue of the sea. Congratulations on a perfectly straight horizon line too, that's something I struggle with in such wide open scenes. This really is a magical moment to capture.

Przecudowny jest ten pas kolorow na horyzoncie. Ciemne morze i niebo oswietlone ostatnimi promieniami slonca tworza dwa odlegle swiaty, ktore jednak wkrotce zleja sie w jedna ciemna calosc. Swietnie uchwycony moment.

Dear Gosia

This type of seascape and light are among my favourite photographic subjects. The long exposure has beautifully smoothed the water and I love the soft tones in the sky. I can just feel the peace and quiet you must have felt as you took this. Unspoilt beauty is getting less and less in this crazy world, so when I see it, I revel in it.

picturesque the view as the presentation of the sunset colour tints over the gulf of Cadiz.These mauve reflections on the calmly surface of the sea makes the scene evn more effective.

That must have been something to see although here's not a lot going on in this picture but the attraction is in the range of colours. It's almost a full spectrum. The stretching rock breaks it up nicely but I like the simplicity and at the same time the boldness of the composition. Delicious shot, Congrats
