Photographer's Note

This one is a photo taken in 2011 in the Catalunya Square in Barcelona, on the Christmas lights in my city. This is an ornamental fountain nicely lit, and the silhouette of a beautiful classical sculpture in cross-light. Nowadays, the Christmas lights are very poor and sad, because of the politicians in the City Hall. They seems not to love Christmas time. rnThis is the reason by which I share this old photo in order to wish to all of you a very Merry Christmas!!!

Esta es una foto tomada en 2011 en la Plaza Catalunya en Barcelona, sobre la iluminaci髇 navide馻 en mi ciudad. Esto es una fuente ornamental bellamente iluminada, y la silueta de una hermosa escultura cl醩ica en contraluz. rnHoy d韆, la iluminaci髇 navide馻 es muy pobre y triste, debido a los pol韙icos en el Ayuntamiento. Parece que no les gustan las Navidades. rn　Esta es la raz髇 por la cual comparto esta vieja foto para desear a todos una muy Feliz Navidad!!!

You've composed the picture excellently and the colours of the many Christmas lights in the tree and the illuminated fountains look wonderful in the dark night.
The statue is also placed well on the image as a silhouette on an orange coloured background.

Hello Josep,
This is a remarkably good Christmas card. The silhouettes of the statue and the persons in the crowd are perfectly placed in front of the yellow light of the fountain, beneath the purple tree. There is a great atmosphere and stunning effects of the light and colours. You have balanced the composition well and exposed it perfectly.

o tambi閚 estuve ausente durante 3 a駉s y pens� que era una lastima no verte en TE cuando volv� en marzo pasado!

Ahora s� la imagen de Navidad que me hab韆s dicho! Este a駉 creo que no tengo ninguna foto as� para compartir, la iluminaci髇鷏timamente no ha sido de las mejores por ac� tambi閚... Linda vista de la estatua en contraluz, con una bell韘ima fuente iluminada y el 醨bol con luces rosadas, todo muy bien captado con excelente nitidez! Lindo trabajo! Y feliz Navidad!

How sad that you had to look in your archive for the Christmas illuminations. Marvelous picture, I like the silhouette of the man against the golden fountain, lovely pink trees. We have also rather sad Christmas this year because of our politicians :(.

A very special Christmas light and colour show with the glowing light of the fountain has the edge. It's composed and exposed excellently with highlights to get a little more detail in the backdrop. The bold and striking silhouetted figs completes the compo creating lots of liveliness. This is indeed a stand out shot

Elegiste una foto muy bella y apropiada, como felicitacion para las pasadas Navidades, ideal el contraluz de la escultura, sobre el los chorros del agua de la fuente, con ese tono dorado que le da la iluminacion, el arbol a la derecha con miles de lucecitas color malva, es un toque definitivo para el exito de la composicion.
Nitidez, iluminaci髇, color, y la magnifica composici髇; son todos factores perfectamente realizados, en esta preciosa imagen.
Que tengais un buen d韆 y sigais disfrutando de Andorra.
