Molino de la Losa, a photo from Avila, Castilla y Leon

Photographer's Note

Another one from 羦ila, shot about 100 meters to the left of this one. I took the title from the writing on the fa鏰de of the yellow house. Molino is the Spanish word for mill, so I assume that it must have been a water mill. I am not sure about the meaning of losa, it seems that it can be slate, which is a bit strange considering that every natural stone in the area is granite, but it can also be slab, which is even more puzzling. Anyway, I don't find it so important.

WS's: Other views [1, 2]. I hesitated much deciding which one should I post. What do you think?

Fant醩tica! Uma imagem com forte impress鉶 de 3D. Formou-se uma esp閏ie de t鷑el cuja extremidade oposta ao POV � a casa, com uma ligeira descentraliza玢o que d� um charme. O c閡 est� lind韘simo, as formas globosas da nuvens s鉶 quase palp醰eis ;-)
Gosto muito dos WS tamb閙, mas prefiro esta.

Ola Jose,

I like this image because the colours seem more saturated, however the first workshop image catches my attention more because of the angle of the building in reference to the water and forest. Nice details and good light. This place seem very pleasant. Thanks Jose.

Por lo visto la provincia de Castilla & Le髇 en Espa馻, es una regi髇 muy rica y apropiada para la fotograf韆, y tu lo has aprovechado muy bien.

El punto de vista es extraordinario, con gran nitidez y definici髇. La vegetaci髇 enmarcan unas serenas aguas, con mucha naturalidad. Buen manejo de la iluminaci髇.

Very nice composition, I like the way you've left the bottom of frame filled with water, doing that has given more prominence to the focal point of the shot, the building.
Lovely light and saturated colours, great looking sky, those clouds are fantastic.

I like that impression to be drawn to the house over the lake, well done. The natural colours play very good together, a pleasant view with a good background sky. The first workshop is a bit sharper I think, but not my favourite because of the view and the second has less brightness, I prefer this one here.

Mon tierc� dans l'ordre : La photo actuelle est ma pr閒閞閑 , ensuite la 1 , puis la 2 !

Hi Jose, that's an amazing photo of yours, which provides me a sense of relaxation. Really a very peaceful environment and you've reflected it with a very good PoV, sharpness and excellent contrast. The use of light is also very well managed. I also liked the view of the small islets in the WS.

The river makes a fine lead-in to the house, that stands out so well in shining yellow!
Otherwise I notice the fine colour palette, both matching and contrasting in a pleasant way...
A balanced composition with sharp fine details!

Water mills are giving splendid views and creating different scenery for photographers but here I think, well maintained yellow mill adds another dimensions of beauty there. Especially green shores and its yellow reflection is very good captured. I liked under cloudy sky with your workshop posts too.

out of the 3 versions I definitely prefer this one - the composition works much better with the shorelines seemingly converging at a point behind the yellow building. the polariser works well to darken the sky and focus the attention on the mill. very nice work, my compliments.

This one looks like a Spanish "carperesque" in rectangular format :))
The 3D clouds add a great perspective depth to the sky. I also like the lively colors which look even better under that nice light. The composition and placement of the "mill" is mathematically perfect. And you also have a reflection and waves on the water. What do we need more for a nice painting subject? :)

des couleurs tr鑣 agr閍bles et aussi un bon placement par rapport � la sc鑞e pour lui donner une profondeur et un cadrage vraiment efficaces.

esta composicao esta simplesmente perfeita. A mata a cada lado se estreitando ate chegar a casa amarela situada ao fundo da um efeito assombroso de belo. Obviamente a condicao de luz com este ceu da o toque final.

Bom dia Jos�, escolho esta de todas as que vi no teu 鷏timo post ;-) A simplicidade da composi玢o e as cores excepcionais, com o moinho amarelo t鉶 bem encaixadinho l� atr醩 fazem uma imagem irresist韛el. E este plano de 醙ua s� embeleza ainda mais a vista e o c閡 tamb閙 contribui. No WS do teu 鷏timo post, gosto do novo c閡 - � batota, mas se n鉶 dissesses nada n鉶 o saberiamos. Quanto � composi玢o, o que gosto mais � precisamente aquilo que vejo aqui, ou seja, d� vontade de fazer um zoom, tirando proveito do reflexo do moinho na 醙ua.
