The early morning light and understated tones are very appealing. The house with its red roof is appealing in a different way and well placed in the frame, making a good focal point.

Hello Gunnar,

This shot is delightful and I do believe that it owes much of its beauty and appeal to the lovely soft early morning light. The picture was obviously taken with a fairly long focal length because, judging by your map link, Google's little yellow man is straining his poor little eyes to see this house from the road!

The light is sublime and it has also given a lovely softness to the colours which are very natural indeed. Your exposure is perfect and the details and sharpness (so much more obvious in the larger version on "Beta" TE) are exquisite.

An interesting and informative note too.

Normaly one would associate Sweden more with the iconic red timber houses we all know from the Astrid Lindgreen stories.
This is a pleasant rural view in a sublime light with the light mist giving it a special mood.

A beautiful rural scene in the midst of lush green surrounding and extremely calming composition, as the illuminated white house stands out with lovely soft light shimmering thru'. It's well exposed with the subject well positioned in soft tones, the misty background and its effect add the overall serenity of the image with eye-catching combination of green and grey offering excellent overall contrast. This certainly has loads of atmosphere and credit to your seamless photo works, Wonderful!! Congrats.

Hello Gunnar. To the Nordic landscape include houses with red-tiled roofs. I am surprised that is used in this area slate. The house among the trees is a beautiful sight.

a lovely place, its characteristics and colours evoke absolute tranquility. The house is very nice too and you've placed it very well in the frame filling the space on both its sides with the beautiful trees. I like very much the way you've managed the gradually strengthening morning light keeping, at the same time the effect of the mist. I also like how the light brightens the side of the house, it must make the atmosphere inside the rooms very agreeable. Congratulations and thank you!

A lovely shot, especially when looking at the large version. The soft light of morning and the subtle colours, and the very well placed house, make this a simple delight. You've left generous amounts of lawn and sky in your square-ish crop, and I would be tempted, I think, to crop some of the grass, allowing the sky a greater proportion of the picture. But perhaps I'm just saying that because the full size photo doesn't fit vertically on my monitor screen!
