Solo concert, a photo from Sodermanland, Svealand

Photographer's Note

I found this man in one of the parks on S鰀ermalm island in Stockholm after I had heard him from far away. He was not a busker, didn't ask for money and had no audience, except that I was standing at a discreet distance for a short while. Clearly he was playing just for his own pleasure and did it quite well.

His favourite tune seemed to be "When the Saints Go Marching in", which he played at least three times within a period of 10�15 minutes.

Lepo mesto sa velikim drvecem i klupom, dobro pokazano sa lepim bojama, kontrastom i uhavcenim trenutkom sa muzicarem koji svira trubu.
Dobar rad, lepa fotografija.
Lepo mesto za solo koncert.

Sounds like he has a fairly limited repertoire. A good photo of him playing for himself and well framed by the trees.

The trumpeter was preparing himself for a long musical session in the park, can imagine the tunes, especially if the aucustical condition in the park works best for this.
The big trees add to the good sight managed here.

excellent this portrait of the musician protected by these two fat trees. I presume it is difficult to play such instrument in an apartment or near a group of houses where neighbors hate music, being in a park this is something more enjoyable.

Hello Gert, The man is just playing the trumpet for his own pleasure. Strange that he has many bags with him. The bench is squeeze between the big trees. When the Saints Go Marching is a good choice for the trumpet but mayube he can't play anything else.

Hello Gert, time for a little music. Maybe the man is unable to practise at home, for all kinds of reasons.
I like the presentation of the shot with the trees making a lovely background, the sunshine creating some nice shadows.

A beautiful composition, with this image of everyday life in a city park, the trunks of those two trees between which the musician is playing are really impressive, surrounded by nature it is a good place to practice, perhaps man also has problems to play at home, where you will annoy your neighbors.

I noticed that you used two trees again for another composition. Previously it was a photo of "Small talk by Visabron". He play for himself and you because as you said no people in the park.
