The Klein Matterhorn ( Little Matterhorn) is a peak of the Pennine Alps, overlooking Zermatt in the Swiss canton of Valais. At 3,883 metres (12,740 ft) above sea level, it is the highest place in Europe that can be reached by aerial tramway or gondola lift. The Klein Matterhorn, with the adjacent ski-lifts , is also a year-round ski area, marketed as "Matterhorn Glacier Paradise", and part of the international ski area between Zermatt and Breuil-Cervinia.

The Breithorn is a mountain range of the Pennine Alps with its highest peak of the same name, located on the border between Switzerland and Italy. It lies on the main chain of the Alps, approximately halfway between the Matterhorn and Monte Rosa and east of the Theodul Pass. Most of the massif is glaciated and includes several subsidiary peaks, all located east of the main summit: the Central Breithorn, the western Breithorn Twin, the Gendarm and the Roccia Nera. The main summit is sometimes distinguished by the name Western Breithorn. The nearest settlements are Zermatt and St-Jacques.
Breithorn has five vertices:
west, highest - 4164 m,
central - 4159 m,
east Breithornzwilling - 4106 m,
west Breithornzwilling - 4139 m,
Roccia Nera (Schwarzfluh) - 4075 m.

Fast ascents to a height above 3,000 metres (9,800 ft) will frequently lead to headaches or other symptoms of altitude sickness with sensitive persons.

Hi Piotr,

The point of view is showing the details of the clouds and of the mountains. It is clear and sharp. I like the way the blue sky is coming through the clouds. Have a nice day.

cześc Piotrze, Ale była piekna zima 12 lat temu :). Tam wysoko pewnie jest i teraz. Majestatyczny widok. Tez mam zimowe zdjęcia z zeszłego roku z Liechtensteinu. Kusi mnie żeby tam zajrzeć, ale mam tyle nowych zdjęć, a będą jeszcze nowsze.

Piotr, these high summits stay covered with permanent snow in summer. It creates a winter atmosphere off season. Impressive mountain landscape. Fine colors, good sharpness, instructive photo note, regards.

The slopes look quite magnificent; tall and serene in their coverings of scree and snow!
You have created an excellent connection between the two, and with it an excellent sense of depth.
The sky is an important feature, adding to the drama of the scene.

Inspirational as always I like this for the sheer sense of great scale. This really shows the immense detail and different from the clear weather shot of this mountain. The ridges is a reminder that nature can be so diverse in this extreme condition. I think it would be a great achievement to reach the snowy summit. Awesome and you have caught it superbly! Congrats

co sie stalo? Najpierw czytamy wiadomosc ktora sugeruje ze mozesz zniknac a zaraz potem zaczynasz pokazywac bajeczne zdjecia ktore jak sie okazuje dlugo juz lezaly w Twojej szufladzie.
Byc moze nawet to jedne z najlepszych Twoich zdjec, choc to oczywiscie nielatwe wydac taki osad.

Niesamowity krajobraz. Mnoswto sniegu, wysokie gory, trudne swiatlo ale tym bardziej doskonaly efekt.
