View from Grosse Scheidegg

The Grosse Scheidegg is a mountain pass in the Bernese Alps of Switzerland, The pass crosses the col between the Schwarzhorn and the Wetterhorn mountains at an elevation of 1,962 m (6,437 ft).

The pass is traversed by a road connecting the town of Meiringen, at an elevation of 595 m (1,952 ft), with the village of Grindelwald, at an elevation of 1,034 m (3,392 ft). The road is closed to most traffic, but is used by a PostBus Switzerland service from Grindelwald to the summit of the pass, with some buses continuing to Meiringen. Bus services operate between May and October, with between four and ten buses a day depending on time of year and section of the route.

Następne piękny krajobraz alpejski chyba z krowami. Wspaniały widok.

Bilety Wizzairu pewnie nie takie drogie. Ja straciłam bilety na Filipiny i z powrotem. To dużo więcej kosztowało. Scoot ani pośrednik sie nie kwapią.

Hello Piotr,
I like the fine light on the green grass in the foreground and how it makes a contrast to the steep dark mountainsides. The cows create a cosy atmosphere in this rather rough environment. It is generally a beautiful view with attractive contrasts of colours.

Piotr, cows are grazing in the Alpine pastures located at the foot of the mountains. The pov creates a deep visual field. The green grass goes well with the grey stones. Fine colors, good sharpness, interesting photo note, regards.

Hello Piotr,

Oh my! What a wonderful sense of depth!
We can almost imagine ourselves going over the edge of this hill and heading down the steep slope!
The highlighted f/g of greenery creates such a strong contrast with the grey, sheer mountain sides.
The gap between the slopes, leading on to the distant mountains is right on the thirds line!

It's a finely executed photograph, very well composed.

A great view of the gently rolling meadows in front of the impressive and darker mountains with their heads in the clouds. The composition is well-balanced and the light is most appealing.
