Photographer's Note

I visited Ukraine in 2003, it's still analog times for me.
I searched the archive and found some unpublished photos. These are scans from the positives.
I think the city of Lviv is worth mentioning these days.
I hope this beautiful city will survive these difficult times unscathed.
How could such a culturally interesting city be destroyed?
I think Russia will stop the war.

The photo shows the Lychakiv Cemetery is a historic cemetery in Lviv.(1786)
It is an "art gallery" tombs make impression.
Many famous personalities are buried here.

Niesamowite zdjecie. Tyle pomnikowych nagrobkow rzeczywiscie tworzy wrazenie galerii sztuki. Byloby straszne gdyby legly w gruzach.

The first Ukrainian refugees arrived by plane in Sydney today. They already have friends and relatives living throughout Australia. Let's hope they will have a Ukraine to go back to. A nice tribute to the suffering of Ukraine. Tfs!

The trees and the vegetation are ging a touch of nature to the scene. The point of view is showing the details of the tombstones. The light is giving good colors output. Have a nice day.

The sculpture on the coffin on the left has to be the most unusual grave stone that I've ever seen. Another good one from your archives.

Bardzo ladny fragment z kilkoma atrakcyjnymi nagrobkami. Ladnie skomponowales. Przyjemna soczysta roslinnosc w tle. Oczywiscie obecnym aparatem osiagnalbys lepsza jakosc, no ale takie czasy...
