Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

For a while, I have been sharing the ancient city of Lincoln but, today, I have moved much further north to an area I am sure you have all heard of, The Lake District.

This photograph shows one of the less visited areas, Barrow Door. In August, you can have a long never ending descent through heather following the narrow path which leads to Low Moss.
Barrow Door looks wonderful with its covering of heather and stays firmly in the memory on the walk back to the nearby village of Braithwaite.

I was unsure which of the two photographs to post but chose this because of the intense colour of the heather and the magnificent clouds. I will post the other as a workshop.

Have a good day, Bev :-)
