Photographer's Note
Good Morning Everyone,
A second photograph from our TE Meeting in the Lake District. This time the photograph shows two young ladies at Buttermere.
Please click here to see the much larger, clearer version.
We had succumbed to ice-creams and were sitting on a bench opposite the field where the lambs were frolicking.
A family arrived and, whilst mum went to buy ice-creams, the girls decided to make friends with the lambs.
The two girls had quite different ideas. One thought the best way to befriend the lambs was by feeding them; the other thought a quick photograph would be better. (Notice it wasn't a selfie!)
I couldn't resist the shot and mum was perfectly happy for me to snap away!
I'm sure you foretold that the girl with the grass gained most continued attention from the lambs!
(I will add a second shot of the girl feeding the lamb as a workshop.)
Have a lovely weekend, Bev :-)

Hello Beverley,
Seems the black lamb like the idea of a selfie, the other just doing what normal for them, having extra feed with green grass.
A nice taken moment, maybe a side POV with a sight of those young ladies faces and the length of the stony-wall and wooden fence would give yet a wider scope to the whole.
My best regards and a nice weekend,
Ike

Hello Bev,
I can hear Baa, baa, black sheep ringing in my ears! Charming opportunist composition beautifully presented. Made all the more pertinent by your commentary.

Hello Beverley,
If one isn't careful enough and gets too close, sheep might start thinking they are offered the phone for food. Such a cute photo of these lambs, these two sticking their heads through the fence look so nice and the two girls are well included too.

Hi Bev
Lambs are such adorable little things, and it seems nobody can resist them. It's great that they awaken that sense of magic in people because that's afforded you this very cool photo. I'd imagine it's hard to get a selfie with a sheep
Cheers

Hello Bev,
It's a cute and amusing photo and a nice view of friendly co-existence between people and animals. Maybe lambs enjoy eating out of people's hands just as much as people enjoy feeding them. Otherwise the white lamb should have been totally happy with the food already available on its own side of the fence. It's a very nicely structured photo with two parallel things going on and a fine balance between the wooden fence and the stone wall.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hi, Bev! Oh, you've got another TE-meeting! You are lucky people, so my nearest TE-friends live in many many miles from my home. Fine title, amazing photo and very informative note.
Best wishes, Bev! Have a nice WE! Serghei

Bonjour Beverly,
Le choix est simple. un nourrit et un photographie. Et ensuite on change. Très beau point de vue au niveau des principaux intéressés. Belle lumière aussi dans les cheveux de ces dames.
Bon samedi

Dear Beverley,
Catching another person doing a normal photo instead of a selfie is a real achievement nowadays. :) I see that the girl on the right was more successful in befriending the lamb.
Best Wishes,
gy.

Ciao Bev
hai creato una bella e simpatica foto con molto poco, non c'è bisogno di avere situazioni particolari per ottenere buoni risultati, spesso dipende dal fotografo.
Buona domenica

Hello Bev, Nice scene with the lambs. I would probably first make some pictures and then fed them. Charming composition. And I like reading about the TE Meetings :).

Hello Bev
You lovely picture shows the choices of the youth of today. What do I first…. Take a picture or offer some feed to the sheep.
Beautiful observation. Well done
Have a good weekend

Ondanks het sombere weer een schitterende foto waarbij we het gebouw goed kunnen zien door de fijne takjes van de boom heen en de man en vrouw mooi laten zien dat guur weer is. Net zo iets als vandaag in Haarlem.

Hello Beverley
Definitely feed for me but that is just how it go's these days. As you say, at least no selfie with the lamb ..... I just don't get that selfie mania as I hate to be in pictures myself.
Lovely scene of a family outing with lots of charm. Especially the black lamb looks really cute.
have a great day
