It must be Autumn. When we were visiting the Church to view the Harvest Decorations,the walkway was covered with fallen leaves.

Hello Gladys,
The framing trees bring a sense of mystery to the composition; we wonder what lies inside the door as we venture up the leaf strewn path. An image with a great atmosphere to it.

Hello Gladys,

The short little avenue of trees and the open church doorway look so inviting that I just want to follow your lead into this lovely little church.

You have coped with the very difficult light here very well, the lovely vibrant green leaves framing the doorway well and covering what would almost certainly have been an overly bright and uninteresting sky. The fallen leaves and the moss covered pathway are delightful but all eyes are certainly drawn to that little doorway!
