Good Morning Everyone,

On our way home from Giggleswick, we called in to a pub in Paythorne, for a bite to eat.

The pub had lots of horse boxes outside and, inside the pub, there were lots of people dressed in riding gear. There had obviously been a big riding event underway.

I love horses so felt duty bound to grab a quick shot of this beauty, who kept popping his head in and out of the open door.

A wider view of the horse box can be seen in the workshop.

Hello Bev,
How could you possibly have resisted the opportunity for such a nice portrait? It's such a beautiful animal and the warm light was perfect. Equally perfect is the sharpness of the photo, especially important for the eyes. I actually get a feeling that they look a bit sad, but that's of course just nonsense. The WS is a good complement for showing us a wider view.

Interesantan pogled i trenutak, dobar tekst ...
Lepa glava konja, dobro pokazano sa lepim bojama, kontrastom i uhvacenim trenutkom.
Dobar rad sa lepom fotografijom u radionici.
Konj kao da se pita, sta li me caka u ovoj guzvi sa jahacima i valsnicima.

You really have close angle to this horse. Light is excellent too. The look seems to be somewhat melancholic, but what do I know about impressions of horses.

Hi Bev,I would have also liked to see the photos of the snack, but for this time I am satisfied with the horse..ahhaa..a beautiful portrait and an enlarged view in the WS for this beautiful specimen at the end of the riding competition, and basically you are right, this is one of the most beautiful and elegant animals in the world. Your main photo is absolutely a fantastic portrait of the horse's head.
When I saw the picture in the WS, I got a feeling of sadness that I certainly didn't have when I saw your main photo.
Excellent sharpness in all its details.
You write that you like horses. Perhaps you can answer my question. Is it true that horses dare to bite their owner? I don't mean in cases of abuse or neglect. But biting an owner who takes good care of his horse.
I once spoke to a man who was bitten by his own horse and he told me that you should never turn your back on your own horse. I didn't really know the person well but thought he was a horse lover. However, I found it very strange. I've never heard of a dog biting its loving master.

I love horses too. Enchanting ... super strong and fast.
I would love to ride a horse before I do ... I've a question , why the long face? Not you ... the horse :-)
Are you not happy coop up in the box , pretty face?
I think it's not working.
Anyway, this is such an endearing shot of this horse. I just love the big brown eye ... longing to go out , staring at the green pastures in the distance , to run wild and free.

I liked these two images, the WS is informative and with some crop it could be more artistic too. in the main post we have an idea the horse was preoccupied with something ahead.
