Photographer's Note
Sunlight on the Ernst & Young Building in "More London Place" on the south bank of the Thames in the City of London, England. This part of the building goes to a sharp edge as seen here against an angry London sky.

Hello Brian,
Talk about a 'cutting edge'!
This is slicing the frame like a prow of a steel ship!
I particularly like the play of light on the surfaces, creating those love, curved metallic patterns, excellent for defining textures.
Have a great Sunday,
Bev :-)

Hello Brian,
This is a compelling modern architecture study with this steep upward view and stunning perspective on this impressive building, shaped like the prow of a ship. The lines reaching to the sky give this a very uplifting feeling and the blue sky provides an ideal canvas that contrasts with the metallic structure. Well done.
Have a nice Sunday.

Hello Brian,
Superb point of view on this ultra-modern architecture. Wonderful play of light over the metal cladding, which look like tiny mosaics. The light and shadow contrasts add even further interest. I wish you a pleasant Sunday afternoon from a bright and sunny Charente-Maritime, although still a bit on the chilly side with rain expected.

Hi Brian,
Excellent capture of this impressive modern design! All seems to be simply perfectly composed with shadows and pretty grey tonality of that moment. Love it!
Have a nice Sunday!

Hi Brian
This is really dramatic! I like the large triangular areas of light and shadow. The stormy sky completes the picture.
Have a nice Sunday

Hello Brian
Like the prow of a gigantic ship the sharp angle of this modern building is cutting trough the air, while the shadows mimic the shape of the building perfectly. Stunning architectural composition indeed.

Hello Brian,
This is another of your wonderfully graphic images of modern London architecture. Again, not only is your viewpoint both novel and well thought out but your timing has also been excellent to have the shadows of surrounding buildings perfectly arranged on the sides of this striking building.
Lovely light and colours and your usual exquisite technical image quality.
Fabulous!
Kind Regards,
John.

Tu as trouvé l'angle idéal pour photographier ce building et l'ombre qui semblent former une bouche grande ouverte.

Ciao dear Brian
hehehehe I'm still giggling from your Peniscola comments and...I see this...I'll try and restrain myself from any phallic comments as this is a family fun site, but deadest, this is the poster for it :)
Love the vertical frame, the brilliant gradations of blue and grey and of course the marvellous graphism. Superb photography as usual, and an image that had given me a good belly laugh.
Cheers
Lisa
