Bonjour
une belle photo format pano de ces troncs d'arbres, les uns droits, les autres tordus, et ce massif de fleurs violettes au premier plan qui apporte une belle note de couleurs

Hello Brian,
Another visit to the bluebell woods and why not, they are really quite delightful to view especially at this time of year . I like the choice of the panoramic frame. Pleasing warm light and colours; superb clarity.

Hello Brian,
This is a delightful photograph of the bluebell wood.
You have managed to show the colours of the flowers and the rich textures of the moss so very well, despite the restricted light amongst the trees.
It's a very well composed photograph.
This could easily be included in a children's fairy story book.
Have a great day,
Bev :-)

Hello Brian,
Again, another beautiful photograph of bluebells taking over a clearing in this dense woodland. The contrast between the lovely warm rich colours of the trees and the dense foliage beyond and the blues and magentas of the carpet of bluebells is delightful. Lovely light and textures and stunning details and sharpness too.
I love to check out exif data and I see that you've taken this on a 300mm focal length and that has very nicely "compressed" the bluebells into such a wonderfully dense and thick carpet. Now that has inspired me to try the same this coming spring as any time I've tried to capture a shot like this in the past I've always reached first of all for my wide angle lens; and that's clearly a mistake if you think about it logically.
Beautiful!
Kind Regards,
John.
P.S. Thank you for your kind remarks about my picture from inside Glasgow Cathedral. Yes, the 5D MkII does seem to cope with quite high ISOs well. My old 20D struggled and was noisy at anything above ISO400 and, quite honestly, the ability to get reasonable shots at high ISOs is, in my opinion, the greatest advantage of the 5D over it. And apparently the MkIII is even better.
I should have thought that your Sony 850 would have been quite good too as it's also full frame. I certainly do see quite a bit of noise at ISO3200. I'm not sure which editing program you use - I use Photoshop Elements 11 - and I find that the noise reducing filter in the "main" window of that is pretty useless. But if I work on the RAW file, I can reduce noise pretty effectively in Camera Raw before I open the image in the "main" window of Elements.
P.P.S. Funny thing this website. If I look at this site (or the "beta" one) I don't seem to have any problems. But if I click on a link (like the one you put in your note) to pass me to the "beta" site, I get piles of horrid pop-ups which is dreadfully irritating. So what I tend to do if I see a picture in "normal" TE is to right click on the image, go to "Properties" and copy the url from the properties box and paste that into my browser For instance, you can see this picture at full size here and I don't think you'll see pop-ups either. And, interestingly, I see that one or two others (including Neyvan from Brazil) add their links to larger images that way. Just a thought!

Hello Brian, beautiful natural picture of a typical English bluebell wood; it makes me want to paint a picture on this theme!
Lovely details especially the moss growing on the tree trunks.
Regards Jean.

Hi Brian
Nice to see these spring flowers in winter - I spent the whole day wading in snow in Slovenian Julian Alps. :-)
I love the contrast between the ethereal flowers and the old moss-covered tree bark. Great crop too.
Best wishes

Hello Brian,
This is another so beautiful image of this fantastic series in your gallery. The flowers created an unique carpet for these impressive trees and the composition looks so magical. Like it a lot!
Best,

Hello Brian
The soft light on the trunks of the trees look nice and the carpet of blue bells very beautifully captured. This is so soft & nice a scene captured with the long end of the zoom, thus creating a compression effect.
Lovely work!
Best Regards

hello Brian,
Another first class bluebell wood shot from you. The miserably cold weather right now makes me want spring to come very soon. A magical woodland - TFS.
Kind Regards, Ann

Hello Brian,
The bluebells look purple to be but semantics aside this is a great shot of the flowers carpeting the forest floor. They also form a framing border at the bottom and add depth and layering. Good sharpness and a pleasant, diffused back-light with good shadow detail. Nice repetition of the tree trunks with a couple of bent and gnarled trees to nicely break the straight up and down verticals pattern. Tfs!
