Photographer's Note

National Monument of Scotland on Calton hill, 55.9548, -3.1819 on the map.

A memorial to the Scottish soldiers and sailors who died fighting in the Napoleonic Wars. Work begun on 1823, but due to the lack of funds, was left unfinished in 1829 (info from Wikipedia).

A cell-phone picture on an afternoon hour, as I was in a hurry to depict that moment - before it would disappear and light would change until I'd set the Canon camera.
