Hello Ike,

Excelent, very efficience and very impressive pov with the falls in the FG. The white colors arise very well in the image. Ilike too the river which advance in the BG and give a greta prospect effect.

Hi Ike,

The point of view is sending my eyes toward the trees in the background which is giving depth to the composition. It is also showing the power of the water falls. The light seem to be strong, it is affecting the ouput of the colors. Have a nice day.

Superb POV of this beautiful place, it seems like you've taken the photo standing on a rock in the middle of river.
The abundant trees and the waters are fast feeling of tranquility and relaxation. Good job of scanning.

Very nice falls well taken fron this pov, well composed with trees on each sides but an old shot and the white water is a little too white on the part with sun ...

Hello Ike,

It's always very difficult to make a good picture of a scanned image.
But you did very well, alone the colors show the scanning on the water.
Excellent depth and perspective picture
Composition makes the picture attractive.

Hello Ike,

You're capturing well this nature by a good angle and excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see the river with some small waterfalls and downslope, and rich surrounding greenery. And, it's good shade to trees, and it's tasteful for some rocks on the river.

Excellent pov showing Staring falls in Cumbria Ike, that natural beauty is surrounded by a green and lushy forest. Regarding my last photo uploaded, I hesitate to remove the bin, on one hand it is unaesthetic, on the other hand it adds bright hues, yellow and red, thanks for posting the workshop

Hi Ike,
I am looking forward for your new photos from the UK :)
This is a beautiful spot. The water itself got overexposed and so is not perfect here, but that is one of the problems which I have with waterfalls as well. I have recently visited one in Yorkshire Dales -it was beautiful but I just don't know how to expose it, so I didn't share it.
It is however a great souvenir, I also admire the sharpness and clarity here taking into account that it is scan from such an old photo. My photos from before 2004 are quite bad :(

Hello Ike,

Considering my love of the Lake District, I don't ever remember viewing this scene! Of course, the Lakes is a big and varied area but thank you for introducing me to this scene. Maybe we will investigate when travelling becomes easier!
You chose a good angle to emphasise the dynamic effect of the cascading water; not as awe inspiring as huge waterfalls but very, very attractive in its own right!
