Photographer's Note
I like to take candid shots while walking in the streets of a city. The camera should be ready (generally in program mode, not to loose time and get a well exposed picture) in your hands, and your eyes and brain wide open to detect what you think to be an interesting situation.
Taken from the pavement in the shadow, across the street, waiting that no car or pedestrian drives in between us, hoping that the situation lasts sufficiently. I was attracted by the large shadow on the white curtain and discovered that he was phoning and smoking at the same time.
Taking persons in action is also a good way to travel abroad, to discover the world.

Hello Claude,
I do like your Manchester pictures. This is another excellent piece of well seen street photography. The light is good and I like the strong shadows. Of course the yellow jacket stands out against the brown and grey tones very well.
Good work - TFS.
Kind Regards, Ann

Hi Claude,
Indeed a great street scene, and the strong powerful shadow adds a lot.
