Nice shot. You had to be fast on the trigger for that one and capture the leaf quite sharp with a nice blurred background. Unfortunately (for me) I don't really feel the falling movement, maybe it's because the leaf is real straight on a vertical line whereas the background has an horizontal sort of movement feel and in my brain it just makes the image still. I made a WS on this but not sure that it solves MY problem with the movement.

I love the blur, especially since you have much of the leaf that is sharp. Ninadev is nice to point out that the lines are horizontal, and so rotating it does indeed give the illusion of more speed.

Mike, very beautiful!! "falling leaves" used to be my fav song and now i have a picture to go with it! amazing and very original. i have never seen falling leaves as a picture before. great colours also.
