Red deer rut has just started in the UK.

This stag image was taken almost exactly 3 years ago at the beginning of my Bushy Park project.

Zdravo Kasia. Privileged to be the first to commend this glorious image of nature in its primal manifestation. Such energy in that stance and the light. I can hear the primal "scream" echoing through the forest (yes, I know it is a park but forest sounds better.) Pozdrawiam. Klaudio.

a marvellous scene captured with amazing skill in timing, lighting and colour management. It's dream-like, a perfect illustration for a fairy tale or a legend but it feels real and vibrant too. The stag's interaction with his mysterious surroundings is mesmerizing. Congratulations and thank you!

Hello Kaia,
Here's that marvellous hazy morning light again. And what a splendid view you found this time. I am sure there was no need to clap your hands to make this animal pose the way you wanted. There is a strange fairytale atmosphere, like the stag would mysteriously appear from inside the mist and disappear again without a sound. It's really beautiful.

A fabulous moment with the deer, Kasia.
It looks as it was roaring, but it is not a tiger - yet, a perferct silhouette against the orange morning fog.
The antlers are impressive and well shown from the angle taken the photo.

Hello Kasia,

This is a truly stunning photograph and, if I'm guessing right, it is another triumph for you because I suspect you took this very early one morning when anyone less keen would still have been snoring.

The light is stunning as it breaks through the mist and almost silhouettes this magnificent creature against a backdrop of faintly seen distant trees. And yet it's not quite a silhouette as we can see the light glinting on the hooves of the stag.

Fabulous light and colours, spot-on exposure and exquisite details and sharpness.

It is a rare image of nature photography, excellent orange color of back light to the stag made it a perfect silhouette in this frame, I like its framing and color.

Hi Kasia

A superb atmosphere with this orange lighted mist, blurring the trees, and a decisive moment well taken when the deer is calling for females. The only remark is that the subject is too centered (removing a part of the bottom and at right edge should locate the ruting animal at the third of the image, and so having a more powerfull image).

Jestem przekonana, że to zdjęcie mogłoby wygrać niejeden konkurs fotograficzny. Jest pod każdym względem doskonałe i nawet nie wiem jakimi słowami powinnam wyrazić m骿 zachwyt. Totalnie inspirująca i wyjątkowa praca. Brawo!

What a wonderful wildlife picture indeed. the roaring stag is set beautifully amongst the soft and golden light and the drifting mist adds a superb tranquil mood to the scene. What can I say, this is a real eye catcher of a picture.

Pare lat temu widzialem serie zdjec tych zwierzat z duzym prawdopodobienstwem wlasnie z Bushy Park, ale byly to prace anatomiczne z wieloma szczegolami bez klimatu ktory Ty tworzysz na fotografii. Urokliwe to co pokazujesz!

I admired your Cappadocia shots...transported me to that very place in 2013. Fine quality shots they all are...but I will come back to them later.
This is an outstanding image, one which rivals any similar picture I have seen in famous magazines, Natgeo included. The allround golden hue is almost like a dream and the silhouette of the stag (I can almost hear its call) wonderful!
