Photographer's Note
The Coral Beach, Skye.
Worth the 1 mile walk down to it.
I caught it here on my large format gear using a 4x5 MPP Technical on a 90mm lens
From a technical point of view the distance between the foreground and the background was reasonably far. I controlled the focus using the inbuilt tilt and shift mechanism the camera comes with.
The film used was Fuji Provia a positive (slide film) at 4 inches by 5 inches its big enough to put a light behind it and mount on a desk ;-)
I rarely shoot colour however I knew the weather might be troubling so took some with me.
The colours here are 100% not the result of post production, other than me actually dialling them awn a bit :-) slide film has a tendency for supersaturation.
That is a helicopter traversing the scene top left. I thought it was a bit of gunk on the film initially.
