Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

I am still at Lincoln Cathedral and thought you might be interested to see how measures had been taken to please the public, even though the cathedral was undergoing a big restoration.

A huge mural, showing Lincoln's shared historic places (the cathedral and the castle) had been painted and placed across the restoration area. It kept the beauty of the building more intact and provided some historic scenes for tourists to enjoy.

In the background, you will see more of the beautiful architecture of this magnificent old building. (For more of its history, see my last post.)

I will add another part of the fine architecture of the cathedral as a workshop.

Thank you for your interest, I hope I am not boring you.
Warm regards, Bev :-)
