Photographer's Note
This wonderful old car was brought out for Trawden Village Garden Festival. The owner has several old cars which date back to the beginning of the previous century. The acquiring, renovation and safe upkeep of these vehicles is something of a hobby for him. He takes them to Vintage and Classic Car Shows where they are on show to the general public. The next time they will be on view in Trawden will be at the Trawden Agricultural Show which will be on at the beginning of August.

Hi Beverly,
OLD IS GOLD! I like this shot, great colors. The frame goes very well with it. Happy Birthday to your husband! There's a shot for him in my gallery :-)

Hi, Bev!
A lovely picture of this mid-30's Austin Seven Ruby saloon. I have its slightly bigger brother - a 10 horse-power saloon and it's my pride and joy ( as well as my DSLR, of course!).
Again, I'm impressed by your PP skills, not just the nice border, but the way you have selected and blurred the background. I've been trying to do that myself with a similar shot of an old car but I think I might just give up and post the original picture!
Well done!
Best Wishes,
John.

Fabulous !
I saw a good number of these old classics in Bournemouth (Classic Cars on the Prom, every summer Sunday afternoon). I love the way you have composed this: with a good angle that is both pleasing to the eye and revealing of lots of detail

Hello Beverley,
this car remebers me the books of Agatha Christie, with his look "twenties", a beautiful car and an excellent shot.

Hi Bev, this sure is a little classic. Your square format makes the close composition perfect. Your selective blur isolates the car beautfully. Very well done.

Hi Bev, I love the classic's & this is a great example in mint condition, you have captured the colour perfectly & framed it very well indeed, it's wonderful, I know it was an Austin, however I do thank John (tyro) for giving me the rest of the information, kind regards Wilson.

Hi Bev,
Wonderful capture of this beautiful antique car that looks as fresh and bright as it did the first day it left the factory. Excellent clear colors and sharp details to this old beauty.

Hello Beverly,
I know it's an English tradition to collect and preserve old cars, and this one is no exception.
I think this is an Austin, as I know the trademark on the "nose", fabulous green, and a meticulous fresh and clear view.
I see england is a heaven foe old cars photographers.
Cheers
Ike
