The mausoleum or dome of Haruniyeh belongs to the 14th century AD and is the oldest building left from the city of "Toos" and is located in the city of Mashhad, in the central part of Toos village. Haruniyeh is among the works registered by the Cultural Heritage Organization of Iran and has been registered as one of the national monuments of Iran.

There is disagreement on the purpose of constructing the building and its use; Some consider this place as a school or monastery, as well as Ghazali's tomb, and others consider it as a mosque that was built on the Sassanid fire temple after the Muslim invasion of Iran.
Architecture
According to the form of architecture, the principle of the building is related to the patriarchal period and Azeri architectural style, parts of which were added in the Timurid period. Haruniyeh is similar to Razi architecture style and on this principle it is considered to belong to the sixth century AH. At the same time, during the excavations of 1975, artifacts have been found that have a history long before the sixth century. In the lower layers of pottery related to the Seljuk, Timurid and Safavid periods, as well as a very thick wall of stone and mortar have been found, which is reminiscent of the foundations of Sassanid fire temples. The trees is framing well the mausoleum. The point of view is showing the details of the mausoleum. The light is giving nice tints to the colors of the picture. Have a nice day.

Hello Ali,
Three god photos of this very interesting and elegant building. It doesn't matter to me, and makes no difference to the beauty of the architecture, whether it was a tomb or a mosque. I like the "clean" lines of the walls and very modest decorations. The first WS is very nice with the trees, grass and flowers in the foreground, but the main photo gives us the best overview of the building.

It is a beautiful and elegant building and you captured it from an excellent angle, also considering the sunlight. The details of the walls and dome look great and all is nicely surrounded by the green of the trees and grass.

An interesting monument that reminds me the monuments I saw in Uzbekistan. Here just bricks without any decorations abut beautiful. I like the lace-like door and windows. Very nice presentation.
